OTE Telecoms achieved its targets in 2024, recording strong operational and financial performance in Greece, its president and CEO, Kostas Nebis, stated following the release of its financial figures.
“We increased our revenue by 4.5%, and our adjusted operating profitability by 1.6%, mainly thanks to strong performances in mobile, TV and ICT. OTE continued to consolidate its leadership position by investing in leading networks. In fixed telephony, the FTTH network expanded further, reaching 1.7 million homes and businesses, as we continue to seamlessly implement FTTH, offering our customers a leading connectivity experience. In mobile, we maintained our competitive advantage, as the population coverage of the 5G network exceeded 99%. Our network is one of only three mobile networks worldwide with ‘Best in Test’ certification for the tenth consecutive year. These results confirm our commitment to providing top network quality and excellent customer experience,” he underlined and added:
“As we move towards 2025, we continue to build on our achievements, aiming to accelerate our growth rate in the coming years. We have a new vision for OTE, to become the leading digital telecommunications provider in Europe, while also leading Greece towards the top positions in digitalization in Europe. In this context, we have set ambitious goals that define our path towards the future and will allow us to create even more value for our shareholders.”
