Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis, accompanied by the general secretary of international economic relations and openness Maira Myrogianni, will visit China on Thursday.
Fragogiannis will meet Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Beijing and accompany him to his meetings on Friday, November 3.
Fragogiannis and Myrogianni will then travel to Shanghai in order to attend the opening of the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Sunday, as well as an event to be held at the Greek pavilion.
Greece participates in the exhibition with a pavilion based on industry/constructions, shipping, high gastronomy/Mediterranean nutrition, tourism, culture as well as with a pavilion in the food sector with the participation of 20 Greek companies. Enterprise Greece is responsible for the Greek participation in CIIE.
The aim of the Greek government’s participation in Shanghai’s exhibition is to provide tangible support for Greek entrepreneurship in international markets as well as supporting the promotion of bilateral trade relations with China.
