Public has recorded over 100 million online and physical visits to the stores as well as to Public.gr over the last year.
According to the company, more than 70% of Greeks visit Public almost every month, which ranks it among the most popular destinations for entertainment technology and home appliances shopping. From the beginning of 2023, the penetration of online shopping at public.gr exceeds 25% of the total turnover.
The company combines a wide and readily available range of technology, home appliances and home entertainment, books and gaming as well as a series of new categories that complement the lifestyle of the modern family. The creation of 13 new “Public + home” mega stores after the absorption of Media Markt has also contributed positively.
At the same time, daily offers are available, delivery services such as Locker 24/7 pick up, but also payments such as Klarna on Public.gr.
Public also strengthens additional categories such as: health & fitness, sports & hobbies, with over 350,000 carefully selected available products. They also offer, in collaboration with Box Now, the 24/7 locker pickup service through which consumers can pick up their order at the nearest, from at least 1,500 lockers throughout Greece, any time and day of the week, and pay before or upon receipt by card.
One out of four consumers choose this particular method for their purchases. In the range of services provided, there is express repair in collaboration with iRepair, reducing the repair time to 20′.
