Sunlight: Expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region

Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems announced the acquisition of 100% of the common equity share capital of its Australian subsidiary Triathlon Battery Solutions Pty Ltd, through its subsidiary, Triathlon International GmbH.

Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, a member of Olympia Group and a global technology company specializing in innovative industrial mobility batteries for the intralogistics sector as well as Energy Storage Systems for renewables, announced the acquisition of 100% of the common equity share capital of its Australian subsidiary Triathlon Battery Solutions Pty Ltd, through its subsidiary, Triathlon International GmbH.

Sunlight, which specializes in innovative industrial mobility batteries for the intralogistics sector as well as Energy Storage Systems for renewable sources, said that the acquisition of 100% of the common share capital of Triathlon Battery Solutions Pty Ltd is another step in its strategy to create a One Group with the goal of becoming a true global leader in energy storage systems for industrial and stationary applications.

As One Company, Sunlight Group and its subsidiaries are emphasizing a more platform-based approach to operations while leveraging synergies in sales, warehousing and assembly operations to benefit customers, shareholders, stakeholders and Sunlight Group’s of more than 3,200 employees.

Triathlon Battery Solutions Pty Ltd was first incorporated in January 2020. Since then, the company has experienced a steep development and gained significant market shares in the main sales markets of Australia and New Zealand in a short period of time. Today, it is one of the fastest growing suppliers of advanced, innovative lithium batteries on the continent.
