Athenian Brewery is taking a series of actions, guided by Sustainable Development and ESG factors, aiming to create a positive culture platform throughout its value chain related to the concept of social inclusion.
According to the company, the daily life of people with disabilities was chosen as the first pillar of the program, specifically providing equal access to the sea, as a self-evident human right.
In particular, the Athenian Brewery undertook the installation of sea ramps (seatracs) on the beaches of: 1) Flogita, Municipality of Nea Propontida in Halkidiki, 2) Dimorigopoulos, Municipality of Patreon in Achaia, 3) Lygaria, Municipality of Malevizio in Crete and 4) Sounio, Municipality of Lavreotiki in Attica.
The company said that it adopts the principles of accessible communication at all levels: on the one hand, it integrates technologies in its own communication channels (company website and social media pages) so that information is easily readable and accessible to all and on the other hand, with a series of important media collaborations, it promotes to the general public practices of inclusion and combating inequalities. At the same time, similar initiatives, such as promotional material with Braille code, are also adopted in the communication of the company’s brands.
